ok so im trying to print something, and i want to conserver some paper, so im using microsoft word, and i was wondering is there any way to print 2 colums on one page instead of just one. so basically ive reduced the font so small that it only takes up the left half of the page, so the right side is all blank, and im trying to cramp another page onto the blank half.

i.e. normal format:

werewrwrwetyyrydsf

rytyuytiuiuoiutytrye

teytuytiutiytuyewtq

weqretyrgfgtyttrwe

but i want:

wqwrewrt truryytewqq

wqrtwtwrt wtrwtwrtrwtw

qrerwrwe wrwtreyteye

qeqweqw rtetertertert

You could always write the page in 2 columns to start with. I think on my printer options there is something that automatically re sizes several pages to fit on one so maybe check in page setup. Other than that i am not sure.

I thought that if you changed the settings in Word to be 2 columns the printer would print it that way since that would be the format of the document.

Yah I think you need to format the document that way and inturn it will print that way. Check through options for format changes.
