Need help finding a good co-op RPG to play with my girlfriend

Hey all. I have a quick question about some co-op RPG's for the PC. My girl and I are looking for something where we can play together in a persistent world, with Role-Playing aspects such as emotes, house buying, pet owning, etc. We both play WoW, and WoW has some of those aspects, but the one we're really interested in is owning a house together. We both have good PC's, so feel free to suggest games that are quite the powerhouses. Thank you for any help you can give!

Path of Exile(free), its kinda like an mmo like how guild wars was (in a way)

Not sure if it has emotes and stuff though, but its worth a check out considering its free, and in open-beta (performs rather well considering) 

Second life sounds up your alley

If you are into MMO, try playing some Cabal Online, it is pretty easy and you can party up with her. It's a free game so you wouldnt need to worry about it.

You can also try some Rift, it has the same payment model. 

As for consoles try some beat them ups like Castle Crashers, final fight, and magic sword.

Neverwinter Nights multiplayer mods (this can give you 100's of hours).

Guild wars 2

TC minecraft u can build you own house. its rather crude for an rpg but it can be played in co-op but its immensly addictive.

Titan quest

Hard to find games with those things you listed.. so ill just list some of the  coop rpgs in general.
