well after going through multiple threads i ecided to go on newegg and find an 8800gt

i had my heart set on a 9600gt and instead i saw this

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127329

its about the same price as the psy 256mb version

so i guess im asking is msi to be trusted

this thing is like 40 bucks more thn the 9600gt plus its got an aftermarket hsf

(i plan on squeezing some extra juice out of it)

MSI usally has some great coolers so thats a good thing about them. but all graphic cards are equal. Its just about the warranty, cooler, and the best pic on the card.

And let me tell you that cooler on that card is amzing. id get it.

As far as Nvidia GPUs go, the gaming community usually places makers in this order: 1. eVGA, 2. XFX, 3. BFG, 4. MSI. Does that mean that's right? No -- but it's a common view. I haven't used an MSI GPU so I can't speak from experience on this one, though I can vouch that they make quality MBs.
