I don't mind the new paint job on the Normandy, but those god awful black lines segmenting the hull make it look so crappy. I am thinking about ordering one of these but I just can't get past the absolute ugliness of those lines.

so are they trying to cut the corners for mass effect 3 like they did with DA2 ? yes i am asking about the development time. i just have a bad feeling about this.

Because they clearly need more time to make 3 when they released 2 so fast and it was great...? This time they don't even need to work on the engine like they did with 2, what 2 had is still awesome, there goes a lot of work on models, galaxy map and the game in general, it's pretty much...what's taking them so long? quality of the cinematic experience maybe.

Over two years is plenty of time for them to make a game. And since this is the last part of the Shepard arc(you know they aren't ditching this universe after 3) they don't have to worry about hooking story arcs from this game into the next.

Well, it's not metal, that's for sure. It's waaay too cheap not to be plastic. Metal high detail models cost from 300 to 500$ and more.

It's $35. I wouldn't expect too much. Which is why I want them to make a bigger, higher quality one. As someone who is deeply into the Mass Effect universe, I would pay a lot for a good quality, good size model of the Normandy.
