Mass effect 1 on Geforce 1070, the quality is not so good

hey guys! I am new here. I started playing the Mass Effect trilogy, starting from the 1st one. Really interesting game. Only problem is my image quality seems very floating and average.I have all settings on max. I have ASUS VX24AH 1440 monitor. Asus 1070

Is it the drivers or optimization? Any tips?

There is a bug where the textures don't load in properly, you'll have to google for a fix as I don't remember the exact details. However besides that, it just hasn't aged well, on a graphical level

The game is from 2007, it looks pretty average by todays standards.

@romano25: There is a texture pack available to download to make the visuals much better. Just google MEUITM texture pack

as said before, there are mods for Mass Effect 1 that do increase visuals.

I am actually playing this right now as I never had a chance to play them all the way through. I am on ME1 and I downloaded the textures pack on nexusmods and it looks quite good.

+1, it's an old game, the 3rd one barely keep in today's terms of graphics.
