Making your desktop look nice

Hello, any recommended apps (windows 8.1) that can make your desktop/icons/folders appear visually prettier?

Rainmeter

No icons is the best. But, the next best thing is getting rid of shortcut arrows via Ultimate Windows Tweaker.

It won't make your stuff look better but fences is great for organizing your stuff.

Pretty much Rainmeter. It's a powerful tool, with lots of content out there to choose from to customize your desktop. You can do and add some pretty awesome UI/UX/HUD elements to your desktop that blend in seamlessly with desktop wallpapers

I use Fences at work....it's great.

Plan on staring at your desktop much? Mine is always void of every non essential but you should check into Wincustomize.com, they have a lot of useless eye candy software.
