Hi all.

I have a problem with my macbook mid 2010 since I've instaled Yosemite 10.10.
When i used osx 10.7 all was fine but now my internes speed is slower than anytime before.

Here are the result of two speedtest:

This i made few days ago before instaling 10.10
http://e-speedtest.com/test/767847

This i made few minutes ago:
http://e-speedtest.com/test/772893

It says that now my download speed is around 2 mbps. However my connection should be 2x better.Dont know if its because of system or router. Also ping in games are higher than this in test. Test result is around 30-40, in game ping is more than 100-150 ms.

Any idea why its happening?
Should i reinstal my mac?

Please help

Test it again, you need to do testing at 1 time or a very similar time and more than once to eliminate weird readings.

1 is done on a weekend in the afternoon whilst the other is a weekday during the morning business hours.

http://e-speedtest.com/test/773343

9.47
http://e-speedtest.com/test/775067

I did more but dont want to put so much links here, so i write it:

10.35:
download : 3,18
up: 1,4
ping 31

13.30:
down: 3,02
up: 1,1
ping 67

Its so weird. Maybe its not because of mac? Maybe ist provider fault and i should call him for advice?

Look;
I also did speedtest and the result are diffrent too.

http://e-speedtest.com/test/785260
As you see here i have almost 50 mbps

http://e-speedtest.com/test/792557
today i have a bit more than 20.

Dont worry. its just happening. its all up to your internet provider, the traffic and many more things.
Just wait till better days. im sure its not because of your mac ;)
