firts I'm from another country & check this site every day :) yeastarday i finish instalacion of LOTR: The Rise of the Witch-king but me and my friend can't play LAN (network) ,in first game we play all day (make 2v2 or 3v3) but here we can,t... please i need help
PS: sry for my bad english but is not my mother lague

Are you guys trying to play in the same room type of LAN or are you in different locations?

hym... we are from diferent location ,we play The Battle for Middle-earth II with hamachi with no problems ,but we can't play The Rise of the Witch-king :(

I never used Hamatchi so I'm not sure how that gets setup. I'm thinking you may have a software firewall or router that either needs to let the Witchking have internet acess or you need to open some ports on the router to allow the game to talk to each computer.

Any idea if you have a router or software firewall?

i dont use firewall (i stop integration firewall in windows) ,but what is router ? i cant tell u nothnik about him becoz i dont know what is it
PS: i CAN play all game in lan (heroesV:HF; WarHammer: DC; Heroes Of Annihilated empire and more...) but this game make me problem & i & my friens want to play a lot ,but we cant =(

Router is the device you plug your modem into and then allows you to connect multiple computers up to it at one time to share the connection. Those also have firewalls which will block ports you may need to connect with.

I'm not sure what else it can be, are you getting any error messages?

Same problem here. I've been traveling across all kinds of foruns and there's a lot of people with the same problem. If anyone knows a way to fix this, even if it is a similar error in a similar game, please post it here.

that game's Lan or internet conection hasn't been cracked yet...... if you're playing with a copy or a crack.... you wont be able to play LAN sorry guys :(

Hmm .. i just got the game and if u can all see that when u enter the setting's you'll see that the version number changes every time u enter the game ..... so thats what make's LAN playing impossible to do .. because the version number is different from a PC to another .. and thats confusing .. :S
