Looking for a Sci-Fi Game to play

Just kind of burnt out on my collection of games so looking for something old or new I haven't tried. Since a lot of games could kind of fit into this category I'll list some games I've played.

Homeworld (both), Fallout (all), Mass Effect, Kotor (both), Starcraft, Sins of a Solar Empire, Deus Ex (both and the first is my FGOAT), System Shock 2, Dawn Of War (both).

Thats all I can think of atm. I'll edit any ones I remember. One last note, I'm not opposed to any type of game although I do find most of the space sims I've played to have somewhat slow combat that can bore me at times.

Tried Freespace 2?

Kinda oldschool but Star Control 2 is still one of the best games ever made. You can download it for free under the title "The ur-quan masters". And yeah most space sims have pretty boring gameplay, if you want to play some actually good ones check out Freespace 2 and Tachyon. Startopia was a fun little city building type game. And for a good laugh check out Giants: Citizens Kabuto, which is one of my favorite games ever made if only for the hilarious dialogue throughout

After looking over some of the games, is there any game that would combine (or add to) the real time combat that Freelancer has, but also add on ground rpg aspect. Freelancer is very shawllow in that respect imo Almost a mass effect/freelancer hybrid.
