OK people first of all this is only a rumor but Nvidia have not confirm nor deny it yet and thats the same with ATI/AMD's 7000 series. So we all need to wait for the final review. The last rumor about Nvidia 600 series for desktop PC will be a mix of Kepler and 500 Series. The real Kepler (Nvidia 700) should be release not long after the Nvidia 600 Series. Rumor says Januar 2012 for half Kepler/500 series and Q2 2012 for Kepler (problaly only the low-end Kepler).
If you go read the aticle:
"The GK-100 based GeForce GTX 780 would be NVIDIA's Next Flagship Single core card based on the Kepler 28nm process. feature a total f 1024 Shaders (Cuda Cores), 128 texture units (TMUs), 64 ROP's and a 512-bit GDDR5 Memory interface".
Thats 2x more Shader (Cuda Cores) and this is a NEW architecture but of couse can it gives double the performance versus the previous generation? That...I can't really tell you but I know Nvidia always goes with Raw-Power while AT/AMD Perf/price. So I'm pretty sure that Nvidia high end card will be faster than ATI.
About the Metro - Last night. Alot of people mixed Metro - Last Light with Last Night after THQ changed Metro 2034 to Metro - Last light. If you don't belive in me then try google it then you'll see there are alot of websites says "Last Night" insted of "Last Light".
Anyway I just want to remind you all that this is only a rumor so take it with a grain of salt and please don't call people fanboy this and fanboy that just because you don't believe. Nvidia or ATI it gonna be awsome to see what their next card can do.
