Not really. You could build a nice desktop with similar specs for about half that price.

Yeah it's pretty good, but the price is real hefty. I wouldn't buy it, but hey, it;s not my money.

If you're so sure it's a great buy then why did you ask? You got ripped off in my opinion as well.

Also, a "gaming laptop" is a ficticious item. They don't exist.

Poor laptop, reasonable portable desktop. High end gaming and laptops will never go together.

You could have put all of these parts in a nice full tower case and paid half the price. Plus your 1.6ghz quad core is not a good gaming CPU. Plus what's the point in buying a "laptop" like this if your battery is only going to last an hour. Again another reason you should have just bought a desktop.

The 720QM is pretty decent, 4 cores, 8 threads, 2.8ghz with Turbo Boost.

yes its a decent price for a laptop. just ignore all the i would have rather built a desktop for half the price comments. It looks very good to me, it has a good screen(could be a bit bigger), good webcam, hdd and a wide variety of connectors. that thing must get a bit hot so dont place it on the carpet or something.

edit: wow i made a lot of grammar errors

Guys, seriously stop telling him he should have bought a desktop or build one for that matter. He needs a Laptop. It looks like a very nice laptop for gaming, to me. Have fun.

I'm going to guess stuff is just more expensive in... norway? What currency is that? I'm 90% sure it's one of those Scandinavian countries!

Either way the same laptop is

yes Norway is pretty expensive i've lived there. But this is Sweden=). And that's acctually a cheap PC here! Weird enough!

oh i saw the MSi with 17 inch. But i picked 15.3 just because it goes down in weight =).

And the Asus is an amazing laptop, but it's to bulky for me =)

im thinking of buying some kind of cooler for it. My last Asus kind of burned down even though i had a pretty solid place to put it on!
