absolutely not. i should NEVER have to pay $15 a MONTH to play a GAME!Lt_RiggsAgreed,even though i don't play RPG's of ANY kind...
Yeah, nevermind the server maintenance costs, bandwidth costs, continued tech support, in-game staff support...nobody should have to pay extra for games that supply that kind of stuff....:roll:Ein-7919didnt say no fee whatsoever. i said $15 a month. that REDICULOUS! They have 8 million people playing. Do the math.
absolutely not. i should NEVER have to pay $15 a MONTH to play a GAME!Lt_RiggsYeah you have no idea about MMO's. The answer is yes it is worth it. It's cheap to buy and and $15 is NOTHING. If you work a shift at KFC or some crap like that $15 is what? 1 and a half hours work? That's nothing. MMO's are meant to keep you going for a long time as well so instead of buying a new game every month, 2 months you keep playing for a year or more. The $15 does towards server repairs and costs and also adding new content in each patch.

it's $15  I thought it was maybe $10...forget that!
I have to say, its a pretty good ploy to get the dimwitted people's money. I played the game, and got bored of it at level 30, and it took me 10 days.....
I say no, go save up that money, to get a sweet pair of ram or a DX10 based video card, or enough to take a girl on a date, and then maybe get lucky (chance of getting lucky = -10%, always worth a shot though).

lol.. I would also say NO. If I shelled out the money for the game in the first place, I don't believe I should have to pay to play online, or pay "maintenance fees" for something that should be fully supported, online or not. However, if this kind of service rocks your world, then by all means, pay your $15/month and enjoy. I will be saving my money up for something more substantial... such as mentioned in the above quote

I think I agree with what he said, less the caps
It definitely seems worth it while you're playing it, since a month doesn't seem that short when you're playing the game. Only until you quit you realize, "Crap! I paid $250 playing this game! And my grades have dropped 2 letter grades!"Colonel_CoolYeah, you can easily waste your time and a couple 100$ for just playing this game awhile.

lol...Let's think about this *Saving up money=chances of getting lucky *Playing WoW=never leaving the house, with no money...lol

One thing I don't get. You're happy to pay full price for a new game that might only last 6-10 hours, you're happy to pay tousands for high-end compiters, you're happy to buy HDTV's, consoles and all of that but $15? ZOMG so expensive!1!!1. Seriously it sounds like just kids who get their parents to buy them everything but if they have to pay $15 to keep playing it costs too much.darklord888Well you don't see a singleplayer game where you gotta grind for weeks or months either.
absolutely not. i should NEVER have to pay $15 a MONTH to play a GAME!Lt_RiggsYeah it kind of adds up if you think about it. 5 years of continuous WOW and you could've spent just as much on a brand new computer. If you don't believe me do the math: 15x12x5= $900
If you're a fan of MMO's or just RPG's in general, then you should definitely give WoW a try. The original game without the expansion is $20 and comes with a month of play time free. A month is probably a little longer than you would play any other game you could get for that price and would be more than enough time for you to figure out on your own whether or not you think the $15 a month is worth it.
IMHO(and the opinion of about 8 million other people)Â WoW is definitely worth the $15Â each month.
No. You're basically paying Blizzard $15 a month to be addicted to grinding and a crappy community.lol_waffles
