is this half life 3 ???

I cant tell if it is real or not but these seem pretty sweet

These are most likely not Half Life 3 shots, they must be photo shopped. If you look at the gun, hand and the HUD, it's EXACTLY the same as in the previous half lifes. The issue is that Valve may continue to keep using the same engine with the HUD and gun textures for episode 3, but I don't believe they will remake an engine for it so these shots are not from episode 3.

In that case it could be Half Life 3 but it's not, because that game is so far beyond completion that they will undoubtedly change the HUD to a more efficient/prettier one than keep the age old HL2 one. Gun graphics and resolutions will undoubtedly be increased aswell. These are shots of a guy who took a HL2 screenshot, and just pasted a pretty background on top of it from somewhere else.

Maybe the next box will have HL2:Episode 3 and HL3: Episode 1:)

but then again i hope they abandon this stupid episodic content garbage and just make a full game next time.

no , it's not true , because , beg newel said , the episode 3 is the final of the story , ....and the last episode, and it's ambitious , but , not like in the two pics , because , the pic explain that the game , requires a high system requirements for running , and the ep 3 complete the ep 2 so it not be a big difference in system requirements , so it's a photo made by funn of half life game, ,because half life 3 will not exist , that's what , doog lambardi , an begg newel said .badhou3a

Doug Lombardi has said that Episode Three will be the end of the Half-Life 2 story arc, but "not necessarily" the end of the Half-Life saga.

And these pictures are obviously cheap fakes, and are really old (even older than this thread)

no its not real. I was watching g4 one time and they talked about those. They wont use a blue color due to something that it dosent attract the eye or appeals better so whenever you see a blue crowbar = fail

nope and btw there having 1 obvious problem with hl2 ep.3 its an episodic length issue. game episodes were a fad that have come and gone but there trapped in the fad... how best to escape uncool..ness without ruining half life also there probably focusing more on there other success story l4d2

It wouldn't be Half-Life 2: Episode 3, because, unless they're looking for the Borealis, it would be a completely different story. And the graphics and details look too real tobe "real".
