i'd say no.

there's no graphics processer in there

and the main processer's not a heavy lifter either

if anything, you wanna go for a better processor or just look for a better deal

i was planning on getting the 2.53GHz proccesor btw.....if that makes any difference...hmmmm

yeah you're still gonna want a devoted laptop graphics card, especially for gaming

and i'd expect the price to be more upwards of 1,000

you are getting ripped by buying a "gaming laptop". desktops are much better suited for gaming (cheaper, interchangeable parts....)

people always say this. you dont know his lifestyle? you dont know where he is or what he is doing daily. would a desktop be a better deal if he is never home? would a desktop be a better deal if he was going to college and he is looking for a laptop to bring to class? so now he needs a laptop and a desktop? why not just get a gaming laptop and have both? personaly i got a gaming laptop so instead of being bored at work all day i can sit and play all my games. was that a bad investment? people that say gaming laptops are rip offs need to open their minds a little bit.

it comes with a 9600m gt it's a decent card for laptops. but dont plan on playing crysis on high.

exactly and most people prefer a laptops anyways and why not have both a laptop for school and play games on

as long ur not a graphic at high expeter 9600M GT is only 2x less powerufll then 9800
