Is the 8800 GTX worth it or 8800 GT is sufficient?

Buying a new XPS or Alienware so wanted to know if the 8800 GTX worth it or 8800 GT is sufficient? Thanks!

What resolution will you be using, and what is the price difference between getting the GT or GTX?

The GTX is the better card, but it's usually not worth the extra cost.

If it's a laptop I'd say go with the 8800gt.

Id say stick to the 8800 GT unless you have money to burn.

What, i thought you could only use 8000M GT's for laptops, not the proper ones.
