NVIDIA® GeForce® 9300M GS

2gb DDR2 RAM

so tell me guys will i be able to run newer games like F.E.A.R 2, Red Alert 3, Crysis on this laptop?

What about older games? like Oblivion, Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Fable?

The graphics card is terrible. It will struggle with anything newer than 2006.

Cheers! Gaming and laptop don't go together, sorry. :( You generally get way more computing power for less money with a desktop > laptop. However convenient laptops may be, they just don't have the space for current "front of the pack" hardware.

You are using a laptop computer.

Therefore, gaming is not an option.

You should rephrase it to: You are using a laptop so "serious" gaming is NOT an option. You could run many older games im sure, and current games will run, just dont expect anything on high/ultra settings

the general rule of thumb is take the desktop version of the card, cut it in half to get the power of the laptop version. so the only decent cards out there for laptops without spending $3000, is the 9800M GT or 8700M GT, or the Radeon mobility 3870

Tons of graphics cards that are better. You could spend a ton of money on a true gaming notebook, but those things are overpriced, you generally can't upgrade them, and the convenience of a laptop is lost, those things are HEAVY. If you truly want to game, sell the laptop or use it for work/general computing use and get a gaming computer in the form of a not-so-portable tower.

ur graphics card is seriously holding u back shame u bought it already i would try to return it and buy something with a little more gpu power if ur planning on doing serious gaming. it will get u buy though for the time being as it will play older games pre 2005 well and run newer games on low.
