There's still a pretty big player base for DoD. Like most online FPS's, you will get killed alot till you get the hang of of it. Gameplay wise it's got a good mix of different classes to play so you should find a favorite your comfortable with. Team work is a must to win maps and some run and gunning, but there are usually some good sniper spots in most maps. I think it's worth the price. I play it now and then still.

I suggest the Source Multiplayer Pack. For $30, you get CS:S, and DoD. They toss HL2: DM in there too.

Yup CSS and DoDS are outstanding multiplayer shooters :) I prefer CSS but both are fun.

i got it bundled with a retail boxed copy of CSS and I'd have to say that it's pretty good, though if you're tired of WW2 shooters, it's still not enough IMO

Its a good one. Takes a bit of time getting used to it, but its well worth the lower cost.

I like it alot, prefer the gameplay over the old CoD's

It is pretty gritty, and depressing (as it should) with really well done weapons (alot are 1shot killers). And with a heavy reliance of teamplay and mixed classes

Evidently it's too late now, but I'd've recommended just getting the Valve Pack on Steam.
Since I bought it I haven't looked back, and you get your $110 worth - in my opinion - just with HL2 (incl. the episodes and DM), CSS, DoD, L4D and TF2...

And I can see you already have at least DoD and TF2, but it's a good idea for anyone else.
