I recently bought a GTX 460 factory overclocked at 800mhz and memory at 2000mhz and I am considering getting a Core i5-2400 at 3.10ghz, do you guys think it is a good combination?

Well it is a good combination but with a Q6600 you dont need to buy i5. Just overclock your CPU to atleast 3Ghz and you are good.

Definitily this. If you can Oc that CPU, do that and hold on with what you have now with the 460.
