Hey guys, i'm abit of a n00b when it comes to this kinda stuff, normally I'd ask my housemate but he's away for a while so was wondering...

We have a DIR-615 D-Link Router, but my laptop is so poor with its wireless connectivity I was hoping to invest in these HomePlugs. Anyways, I was just wondering if any of you guys know if these are compatible together.

Link to Router we have - http://www.dlink.co.uk/cs/Satellite?c=Product_C&childpagename=DLinkEurope-GB%2FDLProductCarousel&cid=1197319391320&packedargs=locale%3D1195806691854&pagename=DLinkEurope-GB%2FDLWrapper&p=1197318962342

Link to HomePlugs - http://www.amazon.co.uk/devolo-dLAN-AVeasy-HomePlug-Starter/dp/B0014LGNMS/ref=pd_bxgy_computers_text_b

Any info you guys can give me would be wicked,

Thanks!

Homeplugs act as bridges to one another and are therefor compatible with anything that uses standard RJ45 ethernet, they'll work with any regular networking gear. However they can be incompatible with certain wiring setups as they can not transmit between different power circuits.

Also those are very overpriced, you can get 200mb ones for about half the price elsewhere or 1gb Belkins for 65 quid

Yeah I was looking into the 1gb Belkins thinking they'd be a bit better and more powerful, but the reviews I read weren't exactly dazzling. Hmm, from what I could see most homeplugs were about half the price, but it only included ONE of them?!
