how to play COunter Strike in LAN and wireless lan at the same time..?

hello guyz

i hav a desktop and my friends playing counter strike in their laptops using wireless LAN.

A laptop(server for counter strike) has LAN connection also...can i connect my desktop to that laptop and play at with them...?

pls help me do it...

For future reference, this belongs in the pc hardware forum, you are bound to have more luck getting an answer there. Anyway, my two cents; I think it can be done but you would need either a router between you and the laptop (would be unnecessarily expensive to buy one just for this purpose though) or a cross-over network cable (not the regular patch cable) to hook them up directly. Why not just try it? The cables aren't that expensive or one of you might have one lying around somewhere. If it doesn't work you can get a wireless adapter starting at about $15. They come in both pci and usb dongles, so they are very easy to install.
