BF3 has 64 player maps and is probably the best on PC. Not saying you couldn't enjoy it on a console. I have an older C2Q with 4 megs DDR2 RAM and a 6870 and the game runs great.

I run it on an older PC armed with a GTX 560 Ti, runs very well on ultra, with minimum framerates of 30 FPS at 1080p. No AA, of course.

The 4670 is below the minimum requirements, so I'd assume not very well - depends on your resolution.

I've blending something very interesting, playing both MW3 and BF 3 at the same time on and off, haven't finished either yet. It's been very interesting so far ^_^ As far as TC question, rig from the Sig runs it beautifully maxed, BF3 is genuinely beautiful even if people don call it the graphics king. I have this opinion thanks to the art direction and some light effects on the game. Yes there are bugs here and there, I've seen people stuck and crossing walls, and one time I was getting the friendly fire message while I was shoothing badies moving cars... and the rain drops aren't that good to look at and they at points come from inside the walls, but despite all that and more I still find it very impressive and enjoyable. Don't side is on the MP since it's pc you'll be up against some pretty hardcore players, if you aren't one yourself you'll be dieing a looot.

Yeah, it's picky and very sensitive to specific builds. Can't really give a good answer to this, but it runs good enough.

Runs like crap on mine, crashes all the time. Just go to battlelog forums and click the Technical Support Forum. It's the second largest after PC.

I keep getting disconnected. About 50% of the time, or more even, I'm getting dc'ed or timed out.

It's, generally, surprisingly well optimized. I did have some issues with crashing on startup for a while, though.

My rig (see sig) can run the game on all high settings, some on ultra, 1920x1080. Once I actually get the second 6850 running then it'll probably be a much different story.

Playing it at 2560 x 1440, everything on high except terrain in low; ir runs around average 40 fps in 64 player matches (in large maps as Firestorm, Caspian or Kharg) using an i720/ 6GB/ 6870 and it looks as the game with the best graphics (overall) despite that the weapons has less polygons than Crysis/C2/MW3, environment destruction is lower than in Bad Company 2 and some games are better in a few particular areas -animations are better in C2, and water also).

The game is interesting in some areas, but so far I like BC 2 more in maps design, gameplay, gunplay and infantry/vehicle balance. But has some strong points: tons of attachments to weapons and better netcode, plus a much better ballistic implementation. In the bad part, Battlelog is such a lame service, and the HUD and UI could be a lot better (you need to jump into multiple instances to customize your weapons instead to doing it in the main menu as in BC2).

The game has too much lenticular effects/blinding effects, but taking that aside looks superb and sounds even better, and runs smoothly.

What are your specs? And it doesn't crash on me that much.
