A couple of days ago I downloaded SWAT4: Gold from the direct download link on Gamespot. I've done this before with IL2 Sturmovik and have also downloaded a few others off of the net from Steam, or Ubi, or wherever.
But whenever I try to run SWAT4, the game takes like ten minutes to boot up, and then crashes my computer after a few minutes of play! I tryed uninstalling the game and then reinstalling it, but that didn't help anything. WTH is going on and how do I fix it?
Ew, Centrino. And 30 GB of Free space? Is that a typo? You should try a clean boot, clean up all uneeded processes http://www.pctechguide.com/tutorials/CleanBoot.htm. You could also try patching up the game too.
Alright well try patching it, though I don't really think it will work. I can't think of any reason that would happen though. Try contacting VU Games, tell them you bought the game digitally, send a copy of the receipt you should have gotten via email and see if you can't at least get a refund if they can't help you fix it. Sorry I wasn't much of a help. Also Luminouselight whats wrong with 30GB free? Thats plenty...

centrino processors are known to have issues with certain games.
