Well I truly thought the trailer was one of the greatest things Ive ever seen but is hellgate london really worth buying let me know is it worth it

I bought it and it and to sum up my experiance, nope don't go for it yet.
It was pretty repetitive and the areas were pretty bland and uninteresting.
Wow like everyone else NO! When I first heard of Hellgate, well I was giddy as a child in Disney Land -Florida that is- and spent the many years eagerly waiting. Then it came out, ofc I bought the game and I just flamed with disappointment, cursed at how shabby the game was.
If you first can get past the buggy/glitchy nature, second the grindfest of pure boredom, third the setting is nothing like London at all- it may resemble parts of the city but its all random really. Aside from other problems the game is an utter horror of crap. Plus way too easy.... I hate you Flagship!
two words: loading screens.
To elaborate, I spent more time looking at that damn loading screen then playing the freaking game.
If you enjoyed Diablo II, get it.
If you haven't played Diablo II and liked it, don't get Hellgate and find yourself a cheap copy of DII first.
If you liked Diablo II, by the time you get bored with it, Hellgate will be cheaper and you will be satisfied.
just to make sure you got the message.... NO!
I thought, great, made by the same guys behind diablo 2 should be awesome. I was very disappointed and its been sitting on my shelf since i bought it. Everytime i played it i spent half the time completing repetitive quests and the rest of the time restarting the game after constant crashes.
wtf I guess you get warnings and post deletions if you agree with people on these **** you gamespotBLaZe462
me too. Some people just don't know when enough is enough.....in regards to power.
As for Hellgate, what I said earlier is definitely the best course of action. It's not a bad game, but if you had no appreciation for Diablo 2, you won't have any for Hellgate. I'm assuming that's where most people went wrong - they assumed it would deviate from the "level grind" formula - it doesn't. But for those of us who loved that kind gameplay and couldn't get enough, Hellgate was the perfect way to spend time other than level up another D2 character doing Baal runs.
[QUOTE="galiualfre"]After playing GoW, Crysis and COD4 I was waiting something else like that...Hellgate London is not.icey6ch9
Nice job comparing shooters to rpgs.
Not comparing as you think...but those are the games I've just finished playing, and of course I was expecting something cool from Hellgate London, I didn' buy it hopefully, just saw my friend playing this game in his computer...no way.
