So I'm a little behind with hardware now. I'm content with my CPU, and ram, and everything else in my computer. However, my GPU I think is a little outdated. Still running at GTX 570. With that being said, there is a little confusion with the new bunch of GTX GPU's that hit the market.
Obvious, the 770 is the lesser card of the three. However, it has 4GB of ram onboard, as to where each other card only has 3. Anyone know why that is? Also, is that to say a fully modded Crysis, with tons of texture mods, etc, etc would run better on the 770, as opposed to the 780 ti for example?
I really want to get the 780 ti, if I do decide to update because I've never really had that "Top of the line" card.
With that being said, I know the 700 series came out around May of this year. Are we to expect the 800 series to come out anytime soon, which would invalidate my update to the 780 ti? I know next gen consoles just came out, so surely a "next-gen" card is to come out soon?
