I'd like to know people's opinions to what card is better: ATI Radeon HD 5770 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260?

I'd like to also know people's suggestions for an inexpensive but effective graphics card. Thank you :)

A 5770 is a great card. runs cool and quiet, doesnt impact on your electric bill too much either. The 260 is also a good card but its last years tech, runs hotter and its more expensive BUT you get things like Cuda and PhyX.

a crysis benchmark is hardly anything worth discussing anymore unless its paired with another banchmark and like it or not we got you beat once we turn dx11 on in games like say bfbc2 and wh40k: dow :P

If you have the money I'd suggest getting HD 5850. GTX 260 is a good card but it uses old tech so I'd stay away from it, HD 5770 is good card but it is a bit weak imo. The best GPU for a good price imo is GTX 460 @ $200.
