Looking for some suggestions, my family is looking for something new and fun to play for the whole family. We all have PC's and want too get involved into something that we can all play. If its Adventure, RPG, MMO etc etc.

Were pretty much into anything at this point. Although I have been bored with FPS games due to teh cheating and hacking going on, and pretty much to repeative. More into RPG's, MMO's adventure games.

Any ideas?

League of Legends. It's free, and you can all play together.

Ignore the Gamespot review, since they are basically reviewing the relatively small benefits of paying for the game, rather than the game itself.

I agree. LOL is somewhat underrated. I think it deserves a 7.5 or maybe 8.0.

It's a multiplayer game that originates from a custom game for Warcraft 3 called Defense of the Ancients (DOTA). Each player chooses a hero and defends one of two opposing sides, with up to 6 heroes defending each. Each hero has unique skills and attacks and you work together along with defensive towers and mindless groups of units to defend your base from destruction. You start at level 1 each game and earn experience and gold to level up and buy hero-enhancing items... there's a fairly steep learning curve to start (if you're not used to such games), but it's fun once you get into it.

And it is free. The benefit of buying the game is double battle points (used to unlock heroes and such in the store) after each game, and I'm not sure what else but I haven't missed it lol. But douple points is not really necessary as its fairly easy to earn enough points to buy a few of your favorite heroes, and there's always a selection of free heroes to choose from. Basically the only reason to spend money is if you're impatient, stupid, or just really want your favorite hero to have a different hair color, lol.

So are you looking for something to play together (as in co-op or another form of multiplayer). What's the age range (for example are there anyone too young for violent 'mature' content)?

These, but both of the first two RCT games+expansions are great as well and replace CitiesXL with SimCity 4.

RTS games are fun with friends/family. Try Warcraft 3, Dawn of War 1 or 2, Starcraft.

World of Goo. Red Faction Guerrilla's party mode is very fun - Burnout Paradise's as well.
