i cant download the certification patch of Gears of War cuz this error appears. old file not found. However the file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. any useful comment is appreciable.

That's a known issue when people use a no-CD crack. If you used one, just reinstall the game and apply the patch before you apply the crack.
