Is it possible to install and play games on an internal hard drive? AndcanI then play on adifferent PC/ Laptop?First thingI want to try is just cut and paste and game to my external drive but I figured I'd find out if other people have done similar things. I know it worksfor Demo's, thats about the only thing I've tried so far. Any tip/tricks anyone can give me?
Peace.

yes, it works excellent. I can actually play WoW with less stress on my PC by having it installed on an external drive.

some games work fine, others such as freelancer have some minor f ups( such as the font changing size to gigantic), but i found many of the high graphic demanding games like to place some important files in windows folder which means it probably will f up on you if you try playing on a different comp

buts its always worth a try

As long as you are using USB 2.0, then you will get excellent performance. I have all my games installed on an external 360GB HD. I am running Bioshock at 1280x1024 max settings for DX9 with no slowdown, even during Big Daddy fights. :)

this sounds like a good idea but doesn't some games set up configuration files based on your video card. It seems that it would get messed up then when you tried it on another computer, especially if one was ati and the other nvidia.
