Games like Tropico...

Guys I am getting into PC gaming as alot of you know from previous posts and I am trying to expand my game playing beyond that of the run of the mill type games and I was wondering if Tropico 4 would be a good game for someone new to that genre and was also curious what other games of this type might interest me or may be easier for me to get my feet wet so to speak?

Tropico and Anno 1404 are the best in the genre. They're both easy to get into.

I think you should start with Anno 1404 Gold (Dawn of Discovery in the US) because it's cheaper and has a better tutorial. Play the campaign until you must fight, then quit and just chill in a peaceful sandbox mode.
