I'm going on an RV trip pretty soon and that means long stretches of no internet. So, I need a fun offline game to play on my laptopduring those long stretches of no internet. Any type of game is fine as long as they will play on my laptop.

Laptop specs-

Processer: Intel Core 2 Duo T6670 @ 2.2Ghz

Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce 9300m GS

RAM: 4Gb

Thanks in advance.

If you can run Just Cause 2 alright on that rig, then you're all set. It's a very fun sandbox game with a really huggggggeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee map ( notice how I elaborate on huge, this is not a joke!). Definitely one of the few offline games that's worth playing while on a trip.

Just don't get any Ubisoft games :P

* Titan Quest

* Torchlight

* Dark Messiah of Might and Magic - (It's awesome now that most of the bugs are fixed)

* Rome: Total War

* Medieval II: Total War

* Company of Heros

* FarCry

* Half-life II & Episodes

* Portal (this is short, but loads of fun)

* DiRT

* Thief: Deadly Shadows

* Splinter Cell / Pandora Tomorrow

These are all great games that shouldn't cost over $30 dollars for any of them, and they're all pretty long.

What kinds of games are you're favorites? I might be able to think of a few more titles that would be good buys.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm gonna check them out now. As for your question, I like Action/Adventure type games.

LOL.

I would suggest Just Cause 2. I play that when occasionally in clas(wow wtf why I can't I write clas s? that'sridiculous) when I complete my work. It's a very easy game in the sense that you can turn it on, blow some **** up, have fun, and turn it off. You don't need to invest a large amount of time and don't need to think too much.
