Titan Quest is a Diablo-like action/rpg by the guy who made AoE.

Diablo obviously, i stopped playing AoE some time after AoE2 expansion, it was good for a bit but i always liked Starcraft better.

Diablo 2 LOD was what made me a hardcore gamer. It was like WoW but free (and a hell of a lot better)
Starcraft also kicked ass with friends

i spent way more time on age of empires than any other games combined and I've been playing CS average of 5-8hrs a week for the last 8 years.
