I fully agree that DoD is the best online WW2 game there is. It's a realistic experience that doesn't go overboard like Call of Duty where you can run and spray at the same time and 80% of the time get a kill. DoD 1.6 is still basically the same but it's mostly competitive players that play it, much like CS 1.6 because most of the players jumped to DoD Source. Source...wow, what a game. Honestly, it's so much more fun to play than DoD 1.6 because 1) the levels are not drab anymore, it looks halfway realistic and 2) the whole game has been rebalanced so that the KAR isn't a crazy overpowered rifle that can kill even when shot to the arm. If there's only one complaint I had against the game is that too many CS idiots also jumped on so the community is pretty crappy now. But the game itself is still awsome.

The original DOD is pretty neat but the source version is really "meh"

Day of Defeat is most likely better overall, but I like the effort they put into the realism factor of Red Orchestra.

Their graphics are so dated though, even with the latest upgrade.

its really really good, dont get me wrong, but sometimes i get tired of the uber realistic kick back and stuff, and venture back over to MoHAA or CoD:UO
