Dark Souls 2 PC Release date?

Hi all,

I am just wandering if Dark Souls 2 has a release date on PC? I remember reading the game was delayed on PC but it was not clear for how long (it seemed to be suggested a couple of weeks when it was first delayed but it seems like there is no solid date that I have read). Is this still the case?

It's eating me away =[ I can't wait to get it. DKS2 is the only game I'm looking forward to this year.

I thought they officially released the other day that it will be April.

its really damn annoying, rumours ranging from mid-late march to April 25 to May 31st. Pretty sure they are all unfounded, I'm hoping its just a couple of weeks rather than a couple of months.

@with_teeth26: That's exactly what they have only officially stated. The PC version is coming out in March. It's weeks not months after Console release.

I figured that date was accurate because they had a promotion poster on one of the links I looked at.

Yes, the game will be available on the 25th of April. You can now pre-purchase it on Steam. I get the feeling that it will be crap port again though and the reason for me saying this is the following text in the system requirements: "Additional Notes: Controller support: Microsoft Xbox 360® Controller for Windows® (or equivalent) recommended" ... Cross your fingers and hope that modders will fix it quickly after it comes out.

EDIT: Forgot to point out that I do not believe that FS have adapted the game for K&M gaming ...

Got an email from AMazon to say DS2 will be delivered on the 28th April in Europe.

Ok, that is not so bad then. Hopefully the game will run better than the original game did.
