This just started happening to me last night. I turn my computer on fine, and I can do anything on my computer with out issues. Though, as soon as I start up any game, my computer starts to make a loud continuous beep. The beep sounds like the one when the GPU is not getting enough power. Any one have any ideas what the issue can be?

That's probably it.

What are your specs, and what PSU do you have?

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 965 3.40ghz

GPU: MSI R6970-2PM2D2GD5

PSU: Coolmax CU-700B 700w

I don't see it a power supply issue, for it'llp lay the game while the beep is going on with no issues. I've had this set up for over a month now and this is the first time im hearing it. Temps can't be the issue, becuase i'll turn my computer on after being off all night and go straight into a game and it'll start to beep.

I was going to say it sounds like a temp sensor warning. What are your temps btw?

I'm 100% sure its not temps. My GPU under full stress runs around 65C and my CPU under full stress runs around 55C. Like previously stated, I started my PC up after being off all night in a cool house and went straight into a game and I get a Beep noise from my computer. I tried several different games all with the same results. Yet, If I run something none graphics intensive like Dwarfs!? from steam, It does not beep.

Mmmmm, what RAM are you using? Maybe try downloading and running memtest to make sure there are no errors with it. Is this a home built rig or did you get buy it ready built?

Install this bit of software and we check your temps and voltages,'It "maybe" a PSU issue.

*FIXED*

Appreciate the help guys, but today when I turned my PC on and started up a game the beep was gone. After about 5 mins, my computer completely shut down with no BSOD. I tried to turn it back on and all I would get is fans running and no PC. I went to look at my PSU and I fooled around with the plug and I heard some sparking. I pulled it the plug out and put it back in and I got a huge spark ball that came flying out the back of PSU. Long story shore PSU crapped out and I got a new one.

Got a Cooler Master Silent Pro Gold 800w
