COD 4 - Difficulty.

ok this is how im playing/played the game.....

i started on normal...not because i suck....just because i wanted to have stupid fun and just enjoy the game.

now im playing on veteran...which if i would have played the first time through...i would have hated the game.

enjoyment then challenge

the first mission's easy. it can get frustrating later on. i would have chosen hardened, at the very least. :) just more fun when games aren't too tough.

When I did the crash-course wooden ship training, I got "hardened" difficulty on my first try. But I didn't think it was going to be THAT hard (I must have died 3 times on each level either due to my own stupidity, reflexes or just go simply overwhelmed by grenades/bad dudes).the_ChEeSe_mAn2

You picked veteran. While most of the levels are easy or decent, I bet you'll have a really really hard time to finish the chernobyl level, at the end of it. There's pretty much no chances for you to actually do it, it's just so damn hard....:(The_lol_maker

NOTE: I am not comparing myself to Alec Baldwin...yeesh..

If you've played other and previous (infinity ward) CoD games then just go ahead and do Hardened or Veteran, if you wanna just sit back and enjoy the show, then play on easy or normal, and then replay it on Veteran to feel like you actually accomplished something.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I noticed you picked veteran, I was just giving my two cents.

Anyway, yeah Veteran is easy at first, but the missions get crazier, and oh man, that chernobyl mission is hell on earth on Veteran, it's harder then "Mile High Club" (I'm not telling you what that is until you've beaten the game, which shouldn't take long,) - anyway, I have trouble on CoD though cuz I can NEVER get the mouse sensitivety right, every time I start the game I have to change it, so CoD is extra hard for me, I wish they could just let me enter a number instead of slide that little slider and make me "guess" how sensitive my mouse is.

Which difficulty should I play COD4 on to get the most enjoyment out of it? Speak quickly you fools!biggest_loser

Veteran is not too bad until you get to the second half of the sniper mission. I don't want to spoil anything, but be prepared.harrisi17
