I'm a first time builder. I have been shopping around for months, comparing items, prices, etc. This is the final build that i've come up with. Prices might be a little off considering newegg's sales.

I NEED TO KNOW IF ALL THESE COMPONENTS WILL WORK TOGETHER (or if i'm missing anything important), E.G. IF THE MOTHERBOARD WILL WORK WITH THE CPU, MEMORY, ETC.

I am not looking for anything better/more expensive than what i already have; i'm not trying to spend an insane amount of money, and no i do not want to wait until next quarter/year or whatever until new components come out.

The only component that i would consider changing is the Monitor if the one i have listed is inadequate; personally i don't need 23.5" but i love the HDMI and 1080p support.

So..........please review! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!

I would suggest in getting rid of that i3 and go with an AMD quad core setup also You can get a better case then that Antec and while being cheaper too.

I don't see any reason why everything there won't work together. However.. You're paying too much for a dual-core CPU, and way too much for that motherboard. Definitely not getting your best bang for the buck with this build. You can get a Phenom II X4 955 and a decent AM3 motherboard for $30 to $40 less than the CPU/Mobo combination that you picked out. You could also get a Cooler Master 690-II (692) case for $30 less than that Antec 900, like the other poster said. It's a fantastic case with great cooling performance and looks. There are some good 2x2gb DDR3 RAM kits for less money too. You wouldn't save more than $10 by switching out the RAM though, so I can't say that it should be a priority.

You can grab an XFX 650w power supply, which is arguably better than the Corsair unit you posted above, for only a dollar more after shipping.

I agree with the XFX Power Supply. I've got the Corsair 650TX one that you linked, and while I haven't had issues, it's NOT modular like the XFX one. My brother built it for me, but the extra cables from the power supply make it kind of messy to hide them. I've also had issues with it and my graphics card screeching.

I would also look into getting a cheaper motherboard and then getting an i5 or i7 processor. The i3 is only dual core

Thanks for all the feedback. I know i said i didn't want to revise my build unless it wasn't functional, but I like what has been suggested. I'm definitely swapping out my current motherboard and CPU for these:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-176&SortField=0&SummaryType=0&Pagesize=10&PurchaseMark=&SelectedRating=-1&VideoOnlyMark=False&VendorMark=&IsFeedbackTab=true&Page=4#scrollFullInfo,http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819103808&cm_re=Phenom_II_X4_955-_-19-103-808-_-Product. And i am looking into the case suggested by NLahren. However, quick question: will the corsair memory that i orignally had be compatable with the new ASRock motherboard? the ASRock memory standard says DDR3 1600 and the Corsairs are listed asDDR3 1333 (PC3 10666). Thanks again!

Any comments on the monitor???

I have that motherboard and CPU. You can use DDR3-1333 with it. When they say a motherboard supports memory of a certain speed, that's the maximum speed it supports. You can run slower RAM with it, no problem. There's really no difference between DDR3-1333 and 1600 in terms of performance with an AM3 system.

Alright thanks. I just want to make sure everything fits because I don't want to deal with shipping items back. This is prob a dumb question, but would this build be able to run medium-high end games? The only game that has been in my mind lately is starcraft 2 and i would love to run it on high graphics/performance on this build.

Your computer will be a heck of a lot like mine. PII X4 955, same mobo, same video card. It's a great combo.
