So I'm in the market for a new GPU because the one that I have now is dead... I have found these two that are more or less in the same price range, though I'm not sure which one is better:

Thanks!

GTX 570, it runs cooler and uses less power and its pretty much equal to GTX 480 performance.

What he said ^ Plus it is still a great graphics card, can run most games at max at 1080p.

You guys recommend that 570 over the 480? The 570 is over $100 more, that's not worth it in any way.

Get a 7950.

Yeah maybe it was on a special deal when he first seen it or something? I dunno if his price range is ~$300 or ~$200:P

Tc for that price you can get a 7950 or you can spend a bit less and get a 7950 which is somewhere between 570 and 580 performance wise and consumes less power ( gigabyte 7870 on that site its $280 while powercolor $250 ( though i dont like powercolor cooling solution )

It would be an easy choice for me. Whenever I'm looking at two pieces of a pc with similar performance I go with the cheaper one.

I would personally stick with Nvidia cards particularly a 560ti for budget.
