I just recently became a PC gamer and have a AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series card. I can run battlefield 3 perfectly on ultra settings no problem. But when i checked the Can I run it website. It says i have minimal requirements to play, but under recommended it says i need 2 more gigs of dedicated video ram. and 4 gigs of RAM.

What are your PC specs? Namely your CPU, GPU, and RAM. CPU-Z will tell you everything that you need to know...

My performance should be fine. My 102 game steam library can stand by that.

what 7700 you have ? 7750 or 7770. If its the latter i would say you might be able to do medium/high settings ( i have an older 6850 which more or less fall in the same performance as 7770 and i play with a mix of medium/high ). Most multiplatform games like Batman etc you should be able to play mostly high settings but some demanding games like Crysis 3 and battlefield aim for medium for most setttings maybe 1-2 settings on high

Why does that matter?PicolasCage

Because 1080p is better than 720p. And a 1080p monitor is more demanding.

1920x1080/(1280x720)

Obviously when you're playing in full HD there's a lot more pixels to be drawn, hence more hard work for your graphic card compared to a lower resolution like 720p.
