Ì just bought this tv:

But I just found out that it has no component inputs and I dont know whats the best way to plug in my xbox 360 without loosing picturequality. I thought about a VGA cable or a component-to-VGA-converter, but do they support 1080p?

BTW what do you guys think of this tv?

Just buy a Xbox 360 VGA cable, VGA is better than component anyway. There should be a stereo input next to the VGA connector, to connect the sound you will need a Phono to 3.5mm stereo jack. After connecting the 360 via VGA go to the system blade change the screen resolution to 1920x1080. 1080p won't be an option as VGA only deals inPC typescreen resolutions.

RGB Scart is a component input. There are 2 of them.

No, RGB scart is not a component input, its a standard scart type connector with special pins to output an RGB signal which can improve the display image, howeverRGB Scart does not officaly support component video signals. If you connect your 360 with a RGB scart you will only get a standard definition PAL image of 720x576 interlaced.

If the above poster is north American he wouldn't know this as SCART is mainly a European connection type.

Thanks for the info. Ill go with the VGA then. But I wonder if theres a possibility to connect an optic cable between my sound reciever and the VGA cable like in the component cable?
