I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. Last week I installed Nvidia nTune from the official Nvidia website, but from the moment I installed it, whenever I try to open the programme I get a blue screen with a bunch of white text and then the PC restarts itself after 10-20 seconds. I then have to select whether to start one of three different system repair modes or to start normally and I just select to start normally and everything works fine. But this exact same problem occurs whenever I try to open the programme. Upon going back to Nvidia's website I notice that Windows 7 is not listed as a compatible operating system for Nvidia nTune, so I believe that this may be the cause.

So I went to control panel to try and remove it, but it will not uninstall. A small window which shows that the uninstall is preparing pops up for less than a second, before it disappears and nothing changes. Whenever I try this the exact same thing happens and I just cannot get the programme to uninstall. So I cannot start it up, nor remove it.

Anyone have a solution to this problem? I would just like to get rid of it completely.

I am unable to go that far back. I installed it on 10/03/11, but can only go back until 11/03/11. This is after I have ticked the box which says "Show more restore points". Am I able to go back any further somehow?

No. Then just get ccleaner and delete the registry entry in the add or remove option. Then delete the folder ntune is located in.
