Best games of 2013 (so far)?

With only the usual yearly releases on the horizon (+ The Stick of Truth), I feel like 2013 is pretty much over for me when it comes to game releases. Thus, making it an ideal time to catch up on this year's major releases. However, being almost 11 months in to this year, remembering all the (good) stuff that's been released gets quite difficult. So... could you guys remind me of some notable releases from 2013? Bioshock Infinite is definitely on my list but other than that I don't remember much...

Personal request: No isometric view games (most strategies, ARPGs (a.k.a. Diablo-likes), MOBAs etc.)

Metro Last Light is a great story driven shooter. Tomb Raider I found to be a really enjoyable action adventure game but not everyone agrees.

For multiplayer, Rising Storm is a very good semi realistic competitive FPS. For more arcade style FPS, Shadow Warrior and Call of Juarez: Gunsliger are very good choices.

SC: Blacklist is a solid stealth game for the most part despite some poor action sequences sprinkled throughout.

So far it seems to be Shadow Warrior and Arkham Origins. I'll say Hotline Miami as well since I only finished that a few weeks back.

Alot of good games this year compared to the last few years. SOme on the list are EARLY ACCESS or still being made but are still great games.

Worst games/most dissapointing games for me would be: Takedown Red Sabre, Day One Garry's Incident and Tomb Raider

Far Cry 3 was better than I expected

Great games I have played this year are

Bioshock Infinite (still my GOTY)

Tomb Raider (kind of overrated IMO but still good)

Metro LL (amazing)

GTAV (also amazing)

There are still some games I have yet to play but think I will enjoy like The Last of Us, The Wolf Among Us, and Beyond Two Souls and hopefully when I start playing BF4 tomorrow I can add that to the list

How could you say no Moba's? Me and my friends just got into the genre with the release of dota 2 and it is easily the most fun we've ever had in front of our computer monitors.

Overall im not very impressed this year out of the games that I have played

Bioshock Infinite: pretty boring throughout the game had to force myself to finish it

Far cry 3: better than expected actually had fun throughout the game and felt like I was making my own experience.

Tomb Raider: I honestly dont know what people like about these games. I feel like I finished it with my eyes closed.

Last Light: I thought it was a little worse than the first, or maybe it just wasn't as original.

Batman Arkham origins: I'm only a few hours in, but it seems like I've been here before. not much new going on.

State of Decay: was pretty fun and cool for a good while but I eventually lost interest.

Arma 3: I'm gunna be honest, I havent played it yet but it looks awesome. as soon as I have some extra time and $$ I'm really looking forward to it.

Ni No Kuni: pretty fun and good art style. nothing special.

Dark souls 2: I know it didn't come out this year, but I played it this year and it has to be one of the best RPG's I've ever played. So fun.

@TheMistique: I dont think fun is the word to use when it comes to Dark Souls, lol

my favourites this year were Tomb Raider and Civilization 5 brave new world. played these two a lot, especially Civ 5

Day One: Garrys' Incident

i have only bought four 2013 games this year. Crysis 3, Bioshock Infinite, Remember Me and Rise Of The Triad. my favorite out of those four has to be Crysis 3, and second place to bioshock infinite. Remember me was a decent game and triad was an okay one.

The Last of Us by about a country mile.

Most overrated is a tossup between Bioshock Infinite and GTAV.

Rome 2: Total War................. JKIN!

Battlefield 4.

Path of Exile.

Farcry 3.

Assassin's Creed 4.

Bioshock Infinite.

Hands down, no doubt, undeniable best game for me was The Last of Us. Best video game I've ever played

Don't Starve still lingers in my mind. It's still my favorite of this year. I didn't get to play The Last of Us, because I no longer have a PS3 (but one day). Since it's not a PC game, it doesn't qualify but still worthy of a mention. I'm still waiting for the official release of State of Decay, then I will revise my winner!

Grand Theft Auto V and Dota 2 are the only games I'd bother mentioning.

Antichamber is one of my favorite games this year, check it out if you havent already.

Yes, easily the best team shooter since Team Fortress 2 and probably the best world war II shooter made. A stunning achievement for a mod team turned small studio and far superior a team game to the Battlefield series (or what it has become).
