The Steam weekend deal, Dark Athena 75 % off.
It's the remastered version of one of the best FPS of all time.
Plus a pretty solid sequel. All in all 30-40 hours of high quality gaming.

[QUOTE="CDUB316"]Yes it does. This comes with butcher bay as well like the console versions of athena, right?
millerlight89
lol, just found it on steam that it does...imma dummy
ok, one other question....do you have to launch athena to play butcher bay or on steam does it have them as seperate games in your game library?
i Loved this game. Actually held my interest well which is pretty hard for A game to do. i may play it now :D
I re-bought it for the convenience of Steam :Pmillerlight89No offense to everyone who does this, but I still can't believe people re-buy a game they already own....

Never lost a manual or serial before for a game? Or a game disc?
Steam saves you from all that.
What about people who get a present for xmas, a console version of a game.. then buy the pc version becasue its way better (Team fortress2, Bad COmpany2,etc..).
There are legit reason why people buy another copy of a game, weither because they lost the game, serial code, disc or want the better pc version.

Only thing i regret is not buying the PC version first.

It makes life easier for sure sometimes. I have a laptop so i like taking like 1 disc with me at a time and its the one in the drive
Ahhhh, gotcha guys. Yes, if you loose things I guess a re-purchase is needed....also if you had the console version then buy it for PC it's valid. I was more referring to people who have the retail version and then just go and buy the Steam version.... are there people like that?FelipeInside
Well the original game doesn't work off the disc on my Win7, so I'll probably buy this for the 'remastered' version of the original. Would save the pains of finding patches/ fixes.
Was gonna buy it until I saw limited activations.
Whiteblade999
Do you really need to activate it that many times?
and this is one isn't that bad because if you read it, it says once you activate it 3 times you have to wait 30 days and then you get another 3 times

.....huh? your not renting anything here.If you have limited activations of any kind you are basically renting the game as opposed to unlimited activations. Had a game that ran out of activations before and had to spend 5 hours on the phone with someone in India to play what I payed for.
@whiteblade
Why would you want to re-install a game 3 times in one month? It's basically to stop someone sharing their steam account with more than 2 other people in the same month, I see it as a non-issue to most potential buyers.
Notice: After activating the third time your product using TAGES a 30-day timer starts. After 30 days you will get that activation back up to 3 total activations.steam

Yup for the reason i just stated lol. If you have a laptop its so much nicer not having any discs to lug around with you. Worth the extra few bucks imo

Thats kinda your fault for using all of them. It isnt renting the game. It's closer to selling you like 3 copies a month. Do you not play BC2 either? This isnt bad at all. If you think it is you should go play console games instead

Do you REALLY need to install it on more than 3 computers at one time?I picked it up. I never played Butcher Bay and I've heard so many good things about it. The TAGES isn't that big a deal. It refreshes in a month if by any chance you use your 3 installs. Plus the game is $5! Can't complain about that.PeerbreedYou will not regret it. I have trouble focusing on one game for a long time and butcher day did it for me
