Battlefield Bad Company 2 MP Problem

i have this probleem.

I installed BFBC2 again but now with Disk authentication.
but I still see no servers how weird is that: (, is that DICE probleem?. and punkbuster is Up2Date.

It Says: WAITING FOR DATA ... and nothing happens, it will returen to windows desktop or the main menu of BFBC2

can someone plz help me.

You tried the Play Now button? i can get into a game using that, but server browser doesnt work for me.

even with Play Now not working. damn EA come on:(. i have the game for 2 days and i can't even play online :(

what does that to do with anything? i played the beta and it worked great but the full game not.

I asked because I have seen a number of threads from people that installed from a copy that they got from a torrent and later had problems getting their legit copy to work. Your wording regarding on-disc copy protection is what prompted me to ask.

BF:BC2 allows you to choose whether you want to use the "disc in the drive" authentication or an online authentication. With the online authentication you do not have to have the disc in your DVD drive to play the game.jtcraft

This is excellent info - thank you. I own a digital copy and was unaware.
