Are these games REALLY worth buying ?

I have listed many games that I'm PLANNING to buy this 2010. But first, I need some advice from the Gamers.. Are these games good ? Should I really buy them ? Here's the list :

Get these ones, skip the ones I didn't repeat. Or do something else.

If you enjoy RTS games, Company of Heroes Anthology is obligatory :D

Far Cry 2, Prototype, and Fear and probably Modern Warfare 2 need to be demo'd before bought. So many people have strong differing opinions on those games. Also, I can't imagine why you would want to play Left 4 Dead if you are going to get Left 4 Dead 2. All the others are solid games.

From my experience:

Fallout 3 is a must buy...

Crysis only if you go with the expansion (the normal game is too short)

Oblivion is a good experience too.

RE5 didn't really got me going I just stop half way and though it was pleasing for most part it still lacks something.

The Sims 3 is good... but I'd not REALLY buy it if you have exprienced Sims before. Spend your money elsewhere imo.

Bioshock is interesting!

Don't buy prototype.

From my knowledge:

L4D, Dead Space and even the dated BF2 all seem great... oh and GTA IV obviously!

Do get Risen. It's actually a pretty awesome game.

Add torchlight to the list. Best $20 game of the decadesimpsons1fan

Yes, its content is atrocious for it's price. Notably many of the utmost basic features in PC games today have been stripped from MW2 and the price was hiked up another $10 dollars.

You're better off buying CoD4.

Yeah I'd say you have the right idea. Unless you have unlimited funds get the games you want the most. Once you are bored of those then either come up with a new list of possible games or buy those 4 ones you are undecided on.

- Dragon Age : Origins if you really like rpg's if casual then maybe not so much

- COD Modern Warfare 2 not for pc

- COD 4 Modern Warfare for pc yes (if you get mw2 for 360 or ps3 then no)

- Fallout 3 yes (GOTY edition)

- TES IV : Oblivion GOTY Edition yes

- Left 4 Dead 2 ( after its released ) yes

- Left 4 Dead wont need if u have l4d2

- Red Alert 3 Premier Edition meh there is better

- Company of Heroes : Anthology this is the better (choose b/w this and WOC:CE)

- Battlefield 2 : The Complete Collection yes (still one of the better online games)

- Trine no idea

- Risen no idea

- World In Conflict : Complete Edition this is also the better (choose b/w this and COH:A)

- Borderlands YES (super fun)

- Resident Evil 5 meh was okay (played 360 version)

- Bioshock yes (everyone should expierience this game imo)

- Dead Space yes (although if you don't need don't get this is lower on the must have list)

- Prototype no

- F.E.A.R. : The Complete Collection dont need

- LOTR : Battle for the Middle Earth Anthology also dont need

If you are alright with a non-hand holding and hard rpg, pick up Risen. Good fun to be had.
