AoConan.... will you join?

so I got into the beta but it was such a piece of crap with the debugger and extrememely old version of the game I never got a chance to play it...

So I'm wondering what everyone thought of the game and if you will be buying it... as well as your thoughts on specific races...

I will definately be getting it. Word is they polished the heck out of the game, and a Holland website (I think) gave them a 9.0/10.

It just seems like a different type of MMORPG in a good way. I cant wait to make a Stygian superhot priest or equivelent.

On a side note, has anyone heard about the instances in AoC?

To an extent... but They really screwed up the beta this time around... so I don't believe I can judge my experiences off of it... considering the damn game wouldn't run on my computer

lol ya, that was exactly my thoughts I was like "hmmm isnt this the same country from where the game was produced? *sniff sniff* I smell bias!"

But still, even with the favortable opinion of a game coming from the same country as the review of the game, a 9.0 is still good.

Betas are not everything. If they were, it wouldnt be called a beta it'd be called a release version.

Betas are, by definition, unfinished versions of the games.

With that said, I heard the beta testing was poorly done and they actually sent out old old old versions of the game.

MMO develoeprs usuially screw up betas from my obervations.
