Any good RTS/RPG suggestions?

Well, my 360 recently decided to go E73, and until I can afford a PS3 or find a way to fix it, my stone age computer is the only thing I got. Any good suggestions for good RTS or RPG games out there? Online or CD?

keyword stone age, literally, games from around 2002-2005 prefferred

what are your pc specs ? that would narrow it down at bit :)

Warcraft 3.

its my laptop but its not here. Hmm..it plays O.R.B off world resource base if thats a starter.

i think its like 512MB of ram, but the minimum specs are minimum of the minimum, so just games that weren't made with state of the art technology would be nice, RTS games usually aren't that demanding from computers either.

there is so many to choose from mate :)

So much to choose from..so little money as you can imagine to though, can't even afford to get my xbox fixed :( Imna see if a friend can lend me warcraft 3, last time I checked he did nothing but play WoW and was a Blizzard fanatic. Supreme commander looks fun though :)

haha you defo need to get a ps3 , i had a xbox but sold it to get an ps3 much better console and you dont need to worry about paying for online as u say u have very little money and the graphics are better aswell , soo yh get you xbox fixed sell it and get yh also get rid of ur pc and get a new one haha

ya, ive actually been waiting for my xbox360 to die out. Ive always wanted a PS3 but friends only had xbox360. But you know, once its gone, you still feel like you got agolf clubin the balls.

I would point you over to GoG ^^ they have a huge selection of generally good old games :)

Also, I would check out the UFO: Enemy unknown (X-com defence). It is sort of an rpg, basebuilding/management tactical tbs.

and heroes of might and magic 3 :P

Ofcourse Command and Conquer Tiberium sun has been released for free, so wouldnt hurt getting that either ^^

And Dawn of war, might be playable (the first one + exp packs, they are really good.)

My big advice would likely be Arcanum from GoG, that game and style is quite amazing.

yes i would have to say gog.com is excellent, 11 of my games are from gog, and they get new games there every week now.

warcraft 3. it still has a very active multiplayer and lots of custom mod maps.

also you can buy the warcraft 3 battlechest for a cheap price now

gog, means good ol games, gog.com is a gaming site that offers old games but garrantees them to work on vista 32 and 64 bit. and they dont sell a game over 10 dollars, its completely legal, i have literally 11 games just from gog.com alone.
