I got an Antec 900 back in July. Now I'm really beginning to be bugged by it's loudness, even with all fans in my comp on low rpm. How could I cut down on the noise? Buy some Yate Loon quite fans? Or should I just sell the 900 and get a P182 since I heard they're really quiet?

No offense, but why would you get an antec 900 if you wanted a silent case? The thing comes stock with 4 case fans, and a spot for a fifth.

Are you joking? The Antec 900 is barely louder than my old computer with only two case fans and even that wasnt particually loud. By the way, its sitting about two feet (less than 2 1/2) from me on the desk. The noise level is actually quite acceptable.

I have a fan on medium and its still pretty darn quiet. My 8800GT with 45% fan speed can actually be heard over all the case fans at that speed.

Are you sure its your case and not a CPU/GPU cooler?

I'd say all the fans on high are very noticeable. Heh this just shows how objective it is. Still, I'd say when they are all on low its not very noticeable at all.

I will see when I get mine, but I usually have music or a TV on at the same time..but from what ive read, it might be a fan on the CPU or GPU.
