Hi guys, I'm about set to purchase my new computer, but I just wanted some last minute advice just in case there are better choices. Following are the parts and prices (Keep in mind I'm in Canada, so if a part/price is from Newegg, I have to use the Canadian site):

CPU:Intel Core i5 3570K Unlocked Quad Core Processor LGA1155 3.4GHZ Ivy Bridge ($230)

Mobo: ASRock Z77 EXTREME4 ATX LGA1155 ($180)

RAM: Corsair CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9B Vengeance Blue 8GB 2X4GB ($45)

GPU: ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II 1137MHZ 2GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 ($440)

SSD: Crucial M4 SSD Micron C400 128GB ($110)

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB SATA3 6GB/S 7200RPM 32MB ($90)

Case: Corsair Obsidian Series 650D ($141)

PS: Corsair Professional HX650W ($108)

CPU Cooler: Corsair Cooling Hydro Series H60 ($50)

Windows: $92

DVD Drive: $20

Grand Total: $1506

If you see any glaring issues, or better suggestions for the price, would really appreciate it. Thanks!

Here, a build that's $200 cheaper, and it is equal, if not better in performance.

asrock extreme 4 @ 180+? Is it because its cad? seems a little expensive. It's 134.99 at newegg with a 1 year warranty plan upgrade free. maybe you should do that and see if they ship to Canada for a lower price? don't know, it just seems pricy, maybe look up other websites for a better price, other than that its a good build imo.

--edit-- yea lol i just checked out the prices for CAD. tough luck for you bud.

It is because it is Canadian. There prices tend to run a little higher than here in the states. Newegg has facilities in Canada already, but even if they didn't the tax (or whatever the fee is called) for crossing the border would cost more than any savings made from buying from them..

I recently got a i7-2600k with a Geforce 560 card. It tears the hell out of everything I've played so far....Skyrim, Mass Effect, StarCraft, Batman, Bioshock.... The 670 is a pretty expensive card, I don't know if the extra power would be that noticeable in current games, but it will probably still kick ass 5 years from now.

TC, have you not taken a look at the build I posted? It's $200 cheaper, and has better performance.

^This is good too.

Cheaper + H100 for cooling. Good deal.
