I'm getting annoyed by howw Call of Duty 2 for some reason doesnt work on Vista for me. Does anyone know what I can do to fix that. Every time I try to play it, it says that there is and error, kicks me out and tries to find a solution. Any help please?

It's not Vista. Figure out the actual problem before blaming the OS.

You can't be sure of that. Try to be helpfull before you activate defensive mode, thanks.

That's correct, I have the game running well on Vista, however.

Difficult to be helpful with the amount of info given, no?

Haven't seen that error before....(am running Vista Ultimate).

Would suggest either d/l'ing the latest patch or doing a re-install.....

I have something like that happen on my games occasionally, but not every time. it could just be the install went bad.

Tell me your running the latest patch...... Oh man...... Try and launch single player and see if it works. You can play singleplayer on any version, but with CoD it needs to be updated to run multiplayer, it happened to me before.

It works on vista for me, I don't even have to run it in compatibility mode, check if you have the vista updates installed
