A quick question regarding Origin pre-orders

Just a quick question regarding Origin pre-orders for someone who has had previous experience with doing so.

When you pre-order a game directly from Origin, does it appear on your "My Games" list immediately after the pre-order, or does it only show up on your list when it's available for pre-load and/or download?

It shows up under your My Games tab stating it's "unreleased." The only other game I have pre ordered was Battlefield 3 and it let me preload a day or two before release iirc. Hope that answers your question.
